Drupal Modules: Module Filter, Mobile Friendly Navigation Toolbar
Today we present modules that allow us to improve the administration that comes standard with the Drupal core.
Drupal Modules: Module Filter, Mobile Friendly Navigation Toolbar, Administration Views, Vertical Tabs Responsive, and Adminimal.
Module filter: This module modifies the module management screen to make it much more user-friendly: it groups modules according to their package and incorporates a module search with a filter by package, enabled, disabled, required, and unavailable modules. With this module, we can forget about endless scrolling to find a module or the save button.
Mobile Friendly Navigation Toolbar: This module is a backport of the Drupal 8 administrative toolbar. Therefore, it allows us to enjoy a responsive and much more usable administrative toolbar.
Administration Views: This module transforms the administrative screens for managing users, comments, and content into views. This way, we can modify these screens to the client's liking. Even if we don't modify the views, it's worth activating this module because the content search improves significantly.
Vertical Tabs Responsive: This module makes vertical tabs more usable. If the screen width allows, the vertical tabs are positioned to the right of the screen. Otherwise, they are positioned at the bottom of the web page. It functions similarly to the vertical tabs in Drupal 8.
Adminimal – Responsive Administration Theme: This is a theme that makes Drupal's administration pages responsive. After conducting a search, this is the administrative theme we liked the most.
