MBCC Group Success Story

In December 2019, the world chemical leader BASF decided to divest its Construction Chemicals business. With around 7,500 employees, the Construction Chemicals business operates production sites and sales offices in more than 60 countries and generated about €2.4 billion in sales in 2019.

The Construction Chemicals business now forms the newly founded MBCC Group.

This undertaking required a holistic carve-out project to separate the newly founded MBCC Group from BASF's IT systems. The aim was to create a completely independent operating company within less than a year.
